RDSI Announces $16.5 Million Dollar Win in Expansion of its North Stonington, CT and Middletown, RI Operations

North Stonington, CT – July 24, 2009 -- Research and Development Solutions, Inc. (RDSI), a Department of Defense contractor with base operations in McLean, VA, has announced a $16.5 Million dollar contract award from the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport (NUWC). The contract will be performed over a five (5) year period out of its North Stonington, CT and Middletown, RI offices. The contract is for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Configuration Management (CM), and technical services for Imaging and Electronic Warfare (I&EW) and Antenna support.

In providing this support to the Navy, RDSI hopes to contribute to the North Stonington's and Middletown's economic development goals of fostering better and sustainable economic development by hiring various types of engineers and analysts; computer programmers; logisticians; and senior electrical and mechanical technicians. RDSI teamed with General Physics Corporation, and ORBIS, Inc., in the win. Work on this contract is set to begin immediately.

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division's Electromagnetic Department is tasked by the Naval Sea Systems Command, Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), the Naval Security Group, and other Government activities to perform a wide range of engineering and technical management functions in support of the imaging, electronic warfare and communication systems. The contract award will allow RDSI and its partners to aid the Navy in these critical technological areas.

Since inception in 1989, RDSI has specialized in providing Government and Industry clients professional and technical services in the fields of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Configuration Management (CM), software engineering, electrical, electronic, and mechanical engineering, system integration, simulation and stimulation, research and development, system installation and field service support, facilities operation and maintenance, and Electronic Warfare (EW) simulation and training. Our software-engineering team developed our flagship software EWProTM, an industry leading, computer-based, scenario and signal generation software package. This program allows the user to simulate virtually any radar signal and display the characteristics in a spectrum analyzer format as well as provide the end user with a high quality audio signal.

RDSI Announces $23.5 Million Dollar Win in Expansion of its Middletown Operations

Middletown, RI – April 14, 2007 -- Research and Development Solutions, Inc. (RDSI), a Department of Defense contractor with base operations outside of Washington, DC in McLean, VA, has announced a $23.5 Million Dollar contract award from the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Newport Division (NUWC). The contract of $23.5 Million dollars is over a five (5) year period with options for the Navy to extend the contract. RDSI will perform the work out of its Middletown, RI operations. The contract is for technical services for imaging, electronic warfare and communication systems. In providing this support to the Navy, RDSI hopes to contribute to the Middletown Economic Development Advisory Committee's goal of fostering better and sustainable economic development by hiring various types of engineers and analysts; computer programmers; logisticians; and senior electrical technicians. RDSI teamed with one of Rhode Island's fastest growing private companies, Seacorp, as well as General Physics, and Sonalysts in the win. RDSI will prime the contract with subcontracts issued to Seacorp, General Physics, and Sonalysts. Work on the Navy contract is set to begin later this month. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division's Electromagnetic Department is tasked by the Naval Sea Systems Command, Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), the Naval Security Group, and other Government activities to perform a wide range of engineering and technical management functions in support of the imaging, electronic warfare and communication systems.
